After soaring to 33 points the game before, The Quinebaug Valley Coop Pride were a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They lost to Bullard-Havens RVT/Kolbe-Cathedral on the road by a decisive 23-6 margin. Quinebaug Valley Coop was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Bullard-Havens RVT/Kolbe-Cathedral apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2021.
David Belle was his usual excellent self, rushing for 141 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.3 yards per carry. Belle is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last three games he's played. Stanley St. Victor, Jr. also helped out with an impressive 88 receiving yards.
Quinebaug Valley Coop's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Bullard-Havens RVT/Kolbe-Cathedral, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.
Quinebaug Valley Coop will head out on the road to face off against O'Brien RVT at 10:30 a.m. on October 28th. O'Brien RVT is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Bullard-Havens RVT/Kolbe-Cathedral, they will be playing at home against Vinal RVT/Goodwin RVT at 6:00 p.m. on October 27th.
