The Timber Lake Panthers posted their closest victory yet this season on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 39-37 win over Kadoka. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Timber Lake has scored all season.
Kadoka lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Garrett Hermann, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds. Hermann continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Gus Stout was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
Kadoka struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Timber Lake's victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-4. As for Kadoka, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Bison the next time they take the court. Timber Lake will head out to face Bison at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Kadoka will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
