After soaring to 55 points the game before, Hilliard Bradley were a bit more limited in their match on Saturday. They fell 36-23 to Bishop Watterson. While losing is never fun, Hilliard Bradley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 476th, while Bishop Watterson is ranked 119th).
Meanwhile, Hilliard Davidson was able to grind out a solid victory over Fairbanks on Monday, taking the game 38-27. The victory was just what Hilliard Davidson needed coming off of a 54-33 defeat in their prior matchup.
Hilliard Davidson's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Anna Wile, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Abigail Lahmers, who scored 12 points.
Hilliard Bradley's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Hilliard Davidson, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.
Hilliard Bradley didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Hilliard Davidson when the teams last played back in January, but they still walked away with a 35-30 victory.
