Leading Dade Christian to victory were Kenvenson Malivert and Kevin Rojo. Malivert dropped a double-double on 14 points and 15 rebounds, while Rojo scored 14 points along with five assists and three steals. Malivert has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last six times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabriel Alonso, who scored six points.
Dade Christian's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Southwest, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
Dade Christian won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Monsignor Pace at 7:30 p.m. on December 13th. Monsignor Pace has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 205 points over their last three contests. As for Southwest, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against South Dade at 7:30 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Florida (South Dade is ranked 562nd, while Southwest is ranked 554th).
