Baseball Recap: Benbrook Starts off Right with Win over Southwest Christian School

Benbrook took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Southwest Christian School Eagles as the Benbrook Bobcats made off with a 6-0 win.

Ethan Smith was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Tanner Madara, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

Southwest Christian School's loss dropped their record down to 2-1.

Coincidentally, Benbrook and Southwest Christian School will both be playing Paschal the next time they take the field. Southwest Christian School will head out to face Paschal at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Benbrook will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
