The Melba Mustangs will stay at home for another  game and welcome the Nampa Christian Trojans at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Nampa Christian took a loss in their last  match and will be looking to turn the tables on Melba, who comes in off a win.

 Meanwhile, Nampa Christian fell victim to a  rough 14-2 defeat at the hands of New Plymouth  on Monday.

 Melba's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Nampa Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.

A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of  Nampa Christian's  Peyton Shook, who   struck out 17 batters over  seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off   three  hits.
