It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Raritan had no problem doing just that  on Tuesday. They walked away with  a   4-1  win over the Spotswood Chargers. The  victory was nothing new for the Rockets as they're now sitting on six straight.
 James Nichols was  excellent,  going 2-for-3 with one  stolen base, two  RBI,  and one  run. That's the most  RBI  he has posted since back in April.
 Raritan was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .375. They are  a perfect 13-0 when  they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Raritan pushed their record up to 19-7 with the  win, which was their fourth straight  at home. Those  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Spotswood, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-11 record  this season.
 Raritan has already played their next contest,  a  2-1  win against Cinnaminson on the 30th. Spotswood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
