Bald Eagle Area is 8-2 against Clearfield since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the Bison at 4:30 p.m. Bald Eagle Area will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
On Monday, Bald Eagle Area got the win against Bellefonte by a conclusive 10-3. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won four games by six runs or more so far this season.
Karlee Fisher spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on ten hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Raelee Repasky and Casey Angellotti did most of the damage at the plate: Repasky went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double, while Angellotti went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those three hits gave Repasky a new career-high. Macey Guenot was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.
Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Clearfield ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Hollidaysburg 11-9. With that victory, the Bison brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.
Clearfield let Aevril Hayward and Haley Billotte run wild. Hayward got on base in three of her five plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base, while Billotte went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double. That double was Billotte's first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Lily McBride, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
Clearfield kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Clearfield now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Bald Eagle Area, their record now sits at 5-2.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Bald Eagle Area has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Clearfield struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.6 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Everything went Bald Eagle Area's way against Clearfield in their previous matchup back in April of 2025, as Bald Eagle Area made off with a 7-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
