They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Salem Academy Charter 57-27 on the road. The victory was just business as usual for Neighborhood House Charter, who after seven games remain undefeated this season.
Neighborhood House Charter got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Alicia Browder out in front who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 17 rebounds. Those 17 rebounds set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Karin Richardson, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten steals.
Neighborhood House Charter pushed their record up to 7-0 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 35.33 points. As for Salem Academy Charter, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Neighborhood House Charter will look to defend their home court on Friday against Cristo Rey at 4:30 p.m. Cristo Rey will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Massachusetts Rankings (they are ranked 92nd, while Neighborhood House Charter is ranked tenth). As for Salem Academy Charter, they will head out on the road to face off against Community Charter School of Cambridge at 7:45 p.m. on Friday.
