Despite the loss, Juniata Christian had strong showings from Jack Bryan, who scored 14 points, and Nathan Wright, who scored eight points along with ten rebounds. Bryan scored a full 48.3% of Juniata Christian's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Flanders, who scored six points along with five rebounds.
Immanuel Baptist's win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-3. As for Juniata Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.
Immanuel Baptist will be playing in front of their home fans against Bethany Christian at 1:06 p.m. on Thursday. As for Juniata Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Lapeer Lakers Homeschool at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
