Meanwhile, Santa Fe Catholic hadn't done well against Tenoroc recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way last Wednesday. The Hawks never let the Titans get on the board and left with a 16-0 win. The Hawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by six runs or more this season.
Claire McGee made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 12 over four innings pitched. McGee was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with four runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Santa Fe Catholic let Jackie Miranda and Kindra Kelch run wild. Miranda went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI, while Kelch went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most stolen bases Miranda has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Declyn Keyser, who earned one RBI, three runs, and two stolen bases.
Santa Fe Catholic pushed their record up to 12-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for All Saints' Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 4-12.
