Lafayette has gone 8-2 against New Iberia recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. Lafayette's win bumped their record up to 9-6-1. As for New Iberia, their loss dropped their record down to 3-12.
New Iberia's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Lafayette hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .383. It's a different story for New Iberia, though, as they've only averaged .256. Will they be able to contain Lafayette's hitters?
