Abington will challenge Rockland on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Abington are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the contest prepared for a fight.
Abington took care of business in their home opener. They were the clear victor by a 45-12 margin over Chicopee.
Meanwhile, Rockland had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 21-42 punch to the gut against Cohasset last week.
Abington's victory lifted them to 1-0 while Rockland's defeat dropped them down to 0-1. We'll see if Abington's success rolls on or if Rockland are able to steal their positive momentum.
