It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but The Science Hill Hilltoppers ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They walked away with a 28-21 victory over Dobyns-Bennett. The win was familiar territory for Science Hill who now have five in a row.
Baylor Necessary was the offensive standout of the matchup as he rushed for 49 yards and two touchdowns.
Science Hill has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Dobyns-Bennett, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4-1.
Science Hill will be playing at home against Maryville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Maryville is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for Dobyns-Bennett, they will face off against Bearden at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
