The Centennial Eagles waltzed into Tuesday's contest with three straight wins but they left with four. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 59-28 win over Treasure Coast. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-13.
Jailyn Williams was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 13 rebounds. The game was her fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jada Parson, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Centennial's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points per game. As for Treasure Coast, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Centennial won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Vero Beach at 6:00 p.m. on December 13th. Hopefully Vero Beach focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Friday. As for Treasure Coast, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Jupiter at 6:00 p.m. on December 14th. Jupiter is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
