The biggest upset of the week belonged to Wilmington, who took down 269th ranked Wilmington, 16-12.
Marion Harding was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from 20th to 17th in Freelance. The Presidents defeated Columbus Crusaders 48-42 earlier in the week.
Fairfield Christian Academy's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Collin Young threw for 188 and three touchdowns and Josh Heeter had 64 yards receiving. On the ground Ben Tobin chipped in 407 yards. Jacob Walker helped Fairfield Christian Academy's passing attack out by catching two balls for 55 yards.
Fairfield Christian Academy's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Knights feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Young has thrown for 485 yards and four touchdowns this season, while Walker has seven catches for 236 yards. Tobin leads the league in rushing with 1499 yards.
Two highly touted recruits will be in the spotlight when Washington and Austintown-Fitch meet this week. The Tigers features well-regarded senior Kyle Kempt while the Falcons has Billy Price, a sought after senior.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Washington takes on Austintown-Fitch. Jason Hall's team is in eighth place, while the Falcons are in fifth place.
Canton Central Catholic moved up to 304 from 346 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Freelance. The Crusaders climbed the ranks as a result of a 28-13 win over the Crusaders.
