Crest is 8-2 against Northeast since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. Crest will venture away from home to challenge Northeast at 4:30 p.m. Crest knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Northeast likes a good challenge.
If Crest beats Northeast with 17 runs on Monday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. Crest was the clear victor by a 17-7 margin over Pleasanton on Thursday. Fans of the Lancers have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.
Kade Nilges and Kole Walter made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Nilges pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Walter tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. At the plate, Nilges scored two runs, while Walter scored three runs while going 2-for-5.

In other batting news, Drake Weir was incredible, scoring four runs while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in doubles (two). Jensen Barker also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Crest kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pleasanton only managed four hits.
Meanwhile, Northeast came up short against Southeast on Friday, falling 10-4. The loss was the Vikings' first of the season.
Tegan Mitchell was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing five bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged two or more in each of the last three games he's played.
Crest's victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0.the team's perfect season has a lot to do with their hitting performance: the team won's by an average of 15.6 runs thus far As for Northeast, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.
Everything went Crest's way against Northeast in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, as Crest made off with a 14-8 win. Will Crest repeat their success, or does Northeast has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
