Bozeman is on a ten-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while North Bay Haven Academy is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Bucks will host the Buccaneers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.
Bozeman had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 12-run drubbing they dealt Walton on Friday. The Bucks were the clear victors by a 15-3 margin over the Braves.
Bozeman got a great performance from Nya Bautista as she struck out six batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits.

At the plate, Caydence Corbitt was a standout: she scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Karlee McLean, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.
Bozeman was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .520. They are 7-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, North Bay Haven Academy never let their opponents score on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Beechwood as they made off with a 15-0 win. Considering the Buccaneers have won ten games by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Addison Mallon made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
In other pitching news, Kalli Stokes looked comfortable as she tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances.
Back at the plate, Kaylee Goodpaster and Khloe Hill did most of the damage at the plate: Goodpaster scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances, while Hill scored three runs while going 2-for-2. McKenzie Goff was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.
North Bay Haven Academy is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Bozeman, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-5.
Both Bozeman and North Bay Haven Academy just can't seem to miss. The Bucks have been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10 hits per game. However, it's not like North Bay Haven Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 3.3 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Bozeman came up short against North Bay Haven Academy when the teams last played back in April of 2024, falling 9-4. Will the Bucks have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other softball content.
