They were outmatched by the Excel Christian Academy Blue Spartans and fell 61-21. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-9.

When it comes to explaining why Champions Christian Academy lost, don't look at Kurtis Colon. Despite the final result, he posted 16 points. That's the most points Colon has posted since back in December of 2023.

William Medina had a dynamite game for Excel Christian Academy Blue, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 14 boards. Medina's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Angel Garcia was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Champions Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Excel Christian Academy Blue, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Champions Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 78-14 loss against Florida College Academy on the 7th. As for Excel Christian Academy Blue, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 62-60 victory against Candlelight Christian Academy on the 9th.
