Harper extended the longest winning streak in Chicago Public Illini - Heartland this week by beating Marshall, 40-0. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Cardinals.
Brooks College Prep's Ahmad Bradshaw and Dakota Starks have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Bradshaw has thrown for 485 yards this season, while Starks, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has six catches for 300 yards. Antoryio Barton from Harper leads the league in rushing with 762 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Eagles take on Maris Carroll's team. Brooks College Prep is currently in third, while the Cardinals are in first.
There should be lots of points scored when James Brown's team and Harper face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Eagles comes in having scored 146 this season, while the Cardinals have scored 243. Brooks College Prep scored 65 points last week as it beat Carver.
