Irvington Preparatory Academy had a senior duo take command as Javen Medaris scored 27 points along with seven rebounds and two steals and Major Davis dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Medaris has scored all season. Jahmere Evans was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Thrival Indy Academy's defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.7 points per game. As for Irvington Preparatory Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 8-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Thrival Indy Academy will take on the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
