Columbus Crusaders has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge The Osceola Grace E Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Saturday, Columbus Crusaders strolled past Cincinnati Landmark with points to spare, taking the game 28-14.
Columbus Crusaders' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aiden Toombs, who threw for 150 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 passes. Jericho Etok and his 96 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Columbus Crusaders' win.
Meanwhile, Osceola Grace E entered their tilt with Calumet Christian with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. Osceola Grace E took down Calumet Christian 32-16 on Saturday.
Gavin Stamper went supernova for Osceola Grace E, rushing for 189 yards and four touchdowns.
Columbus Crusaders' victory was their tenth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 9-1. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 21.5 points. As for Osceola Grace E, their win bumped their record up to 8-2.
Columbus Crusaders beat Osceola Grace E 15-8 in their previous meeting back in October of 2022. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Osceola Grace E's Jackson Colvin, who picked up 169 receiving yards and a touchdown.
