Silver Valley added to the longest winning streak in Desert Mountain this week by beating Desert Christian, 58-14. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Trojans.
Boron was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from eighth to sixth in the league. Earlier in the week, the Bobcats defeated Vasquez 51-32.
Logan Lukenbill was a key player and the best on defense this week as Desert defeated Excelsior Charter. He.
Evan Martinez threw for 122 yards and 3 touchdowns. He was 10-19 with 1 interception.
Lukenbill was a passing and rushing force as the Scorpions bested the Eagles. Lukenbill's key target this week was Chad Gleason, who caught 3 passes for 59 yards.

John Stewart's team scaled the state rankings by moving to 574 from 673 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Trojans climbed the ranks as a result of topping the Knights 58-14.
