Banning hasn't had much luck against Coachella Valley recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Broncos will be playing at home against the Mighty Arabs at 7:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Friday.
Coachella Valley will be up against a hot Banning squad: the team just extended their winning streak to four. The Broncos blew past Desert Mirage, posting a 50-22 win. Considering the Broncos have won four contests by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

It was another big night for JACOB ANZALDUA, who threw for 259 yards and four TDs. Banning also got a significant boost from DEQUINN LOVINGS, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 85 yards.
Meanwhile, Coachella Valley humbled Indio with a 37-7 victory. The Mighty Arabs are also no stranger to big wins: their blowout on Thursday was the fourth game they've won by 20+ points this season.
Banning better keep an eye on Ivan Camargo. He was instrumental in Coachella Valley's win, rushing for 163 yards and three scores on only five carries, while also picking up 71 receiving yards and one touchdown. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 68 yards. Another signal caller making a difference was Xzavier Hernandez, who threw for 138 yards and a pair of TDs on only eight passes.
Coachella Valley was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 214 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 160 rushing yards in five consecutive matchups.
One reason for the win was Coachella Valley's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for nine sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Carlos Verduzco and Julian Rodriguez, who racked up 6.5 sacks between them. Verduzco also made nine total tackles, which is notable because Coachella Valley is 2-1 when he posts at least four total tackles, but 3-4 otherwise. Israel Inzunza was another major factor on D, picking up a sack, forcing three fumbles, and making four total tackles.
The victory got Coachella Valley back to even at 5-5. As for Banning, their record is now 8-2.
Banning took a serious blow against Coachella Valley in their previous meeting back in September of 2023, falling 52-3. Thankfully for the Broncos, Aaron Ramirez (who rushed for 233 yards and four touchdowns on only eight carries, and also picked up 38 receiving yards) won't be suiting up this time.
