The Fall River Bulldogs won the last time they faced the Modoc Braves, and things went their way on Friday too. Fall River walked away with a 28-20 win over Modoc.
Fall River got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Carter Kroschel out in front who gained 105 total yards and a touchdown. Another player making a difference was Abe Estes, who rushed for 32 yards and two touchdowns.
Modoc's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Lewis Crumwell, who rushed for 89 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, and Jordan Maddox who picked up 59 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Fall River's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Modoc, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fall River will take on Los Molinos at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Los Molinos will be hoping to continue their four-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last. As for Modoc, they will head out on the road to face off against Biggs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
