Gabrielino has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will head out to  take on the Santiago Cavaliers  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Santiago took a loss in their last  contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Gabrielino, who comes in off a win.

  Isiah Caballero had a dynamite game for Gabrielino, rushing for 75 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries.  Peter Ruiz was in the mix  as well, providing Gabrielino with two touchdowns.

 Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Santiago's offense. They took a  blow against Estancia on Friday, falling  38-0. Having soared to a lofty 38  points in the game before, the Cavaliers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
 The  victory  got Gabrielino back to even at 2-2. As for Santiago, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
 Gabrielino took a serious blow against Santiago  in their previous matchup  back in September of 2023, falling  39-6. Can Gabrielino avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
