Hamlin has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge the Munday Moguls on Thursday. Munday took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Hamlin, who comes in off a win.
After only 12 points in their last game, Hamlin made sure to put some points up on the board against Guthrie on Tuesday. Hamlin really took it to Guthrie for the full four quarters, racking up a 66-30 win at home.
Hamlin found their leader in underclassman Kyson McGee, who scored 18 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which McGee has scored at least 25% of Hamlin's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ian Gruben, who scored 12 points.
Meanwhile, Munday came up short against Knox City on Tuesday and fell 61-50. Munday has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The losses dropped Hamlin to 3-2 and Guthrie to 0-3.
Hamlin won a game that couldn't have been any closer in their previous meeting back in December of 2016, slipping by Munday 46-45. Will Hamlin repeat their success, or does Munday have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
