On Friday Ash Grove will take on Sarcoxie at 7:00 PM. Ash Grove have seen their point totals decreasing over the past three games, a vulnerability Sarcoxie are surely hoping to exploit.
Things haven't been easy for Ash Grove, and their game last Friday only extended their streak of losses to five. They were completely outmatched, falling 0-41 to Marionville.
Last Friday, Sarcoxie put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They were the clear victor by a 27-0 margin over Diamond. Sarcoxie were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Sarcoxie's victory lifted them to 5-3 while Ash Grove's defeat dropped them down to 2-6. We'll find out if Sarcoxie can add another positive mark to their record or if Ash Grove can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Sarcoxie's step.
