Freeway recap September 17, 2013
Troy moved up to 262 from 386 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Freeway. The Warriors climbed the ranks as a result of topping California 35-6.
Buena Park took down Magnolia 66-13 last week, the largest margin of any game. Deven Boston ran for 300 yards during the win.
Troy's dynamic duo of Kyle Blumer and Dominic Vaccher proved to be unstoppable against the Condors, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Blumer threw for 163 yards and 2 touchdowns and Vaccher had 117 yards receiving. Bailey Frame helped Troy's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 37 yards.
Kevin Hastin's team's dynamic duo of Blumer and Vaccher proved tough for California to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Boston was a force in the backfield as the Coyotes defeated the Sentinels.
Vaccher was the best receiver in the league this week as the Warriors topped Jim Arnold's team.
Boston was the most successful running back in the league this week. Teammate Matthew Sifuentes added to the ground attack by rushing for 93 yards.
Boston was a passing and rushing force as Buena Park beat Magnolia. Boston's key target this week was Evi Moa, who caught 3 passes for 67 yards.
Blumer put up the best numbers in passing as Troy defeated the Condors.
On the heels of Ahmad Redeemer and Boston, Anthony White's team has had great success on offense. Redeemer is tops in the league in passing with 364 yards, while Boston has rushed for 876 yards this season. Fullerton's KAENE SOTO leads the league in receiving yards with 189 on 4 catches.
The Coyotes led Freeway in scoring this week after putting up 66 points on Ryan Olson's team. Boston in the win.
