Trinity Hester, 2028 made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. She has been hot for a while, having posted at least one stolen base the last nine times she's played. Another player making a difference was Cienna Bell, 2028, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Meanwhile, King never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 16-0 margin over Cody. Considering the Crusaders have won 15 matches by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
The team relied heavily on Kimora Williams, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and two runs. Those two hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Grayce Green, who went 1-for-3 with two runs.
King's win bumped their record up to 20-3. As for Southfield Arts & Tech, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-12 record this season.
Tuesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Southfield Arts & Tech has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .604. However, it's not like King struggles in that department as they've averaged .501. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
