The Tri-Township Tigers put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 64-35 victory over Oregon-Davis. Tri-Township's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Tri-Township's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was ADDISON HENDRIXSON, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds. HENDRIXSON is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Addie Gorski, who scored 18 points along with four steals.
Tri-Township's win was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-0. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.7 points per game. As for Oregon-Davis, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.
Tri-Township will be home for the holidays to greet North Judson-San Pierre at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully North Judson-San Pierre focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Thursday. As for Oregon-Davis, they will head out on the road to face off against Westville at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
