The Durango Trailblazers were the 43-38 winner over the Basic Wolves when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. Durango fell to Basic 48-44. Durango has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Several Trailblazers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Amia McKinney, who scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Elizebeth Mahavong, who scored 14 points.
Durango has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season. As for Basic, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Durango will take on Mojave at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Mojave is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak. As for Basic, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sunrise Mountain at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
