After having lost a blowout in their previous game against West York Area, Susquehannock was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Eastern York Golden Knights as Susquehannock made off with a 14-8 victory. The Warriors' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Owen Regner looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits.
On the hitting side, Susquehannock got a massive performance out of Jaydon Sipe, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. That's the most runs Sipe has posted since back in April of 2024. Andrew Unglesbee was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.
Susquehannock hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Eastern York struck out nine times.
