The East Dragons lost against the Canfield Cardinals back in November of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. East took a 20-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of Canfield. East has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Several Dragons players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Darshaun Sales, who threw for 143 yards and a touchdown.
East's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Canfield, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-3.
East does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Canfield is on the road again on Friday and play against Ursuline at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. Ursuline knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 11 matches -- so hopefully Canfield likes a good challenge.
