Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kamoria Crawford, who posted five points and eight steals. Crawford has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last eight times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Maya Bell, who had 19 points in addition to five boards and four steals.
Even though they lost, Lexington smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in eight consecutive matches.
With the defeat, Lexington broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 20-6. As for Rockdale, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-14.
