The Weber Warriors entered their tilt with the Fremont Silverwolves with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Weber walked away with a 72-61 win over Fremont on Friday. Weber pushed the score to 51-30 by the end of the third, a deficit Fremont cut but never quite recovered from.
Despite the loss, Fremont still got an impressive performance from Hunter Hansen, who scored 25 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Easton Duft, who scored 15 points along with six assists.
Weber's win bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Fremont, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-10 record this season.
Weber will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Layton at 7:00 p.m. Layton has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,565 points over their last 21 matches. As for Fremont, they will head out on the road to challenge Syracuse at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Syracuse is coming into the contest with five straight losses at home, meaning Fremont will have to defend against a squad hungry for a victory.
