St. John had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the False River Gators a 15-0 shutout. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 16 games by six runs or more this season.

St. John's record now sits at 20-11. As for False River, their defeat was their tenth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-21.
