Two dominant backs in Levon Morton and Tyreke Cockroft are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Horn Jaguars will head out on the road to face off against the Royse City Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Despite the loss, Horn saw an underclassman step up: Morton gained 139 total yards.
Meanwhile, Royse City was beaten by Rockwall-Heath 38-3 on Saturday. Royse City was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-3.
Horn now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Royse City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.
Horn took their victory against Royse City when the teams last played back in November of 2022 by a conclusive 35-10. The rematch might be a little tougher for Horn since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
