Plainfield North had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They blew past the Harlem Huskies 75-55. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 20 points or more this season.

When it comes to explaining why Harlem lost, don't look at Mateo Perera. Despite the final result, he went 5 of 11 en route to 20 points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Mason Walsh, who went 5 for 10 on his way to 10 points and eight rebounds.

Plainfield North is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. As for Harlem, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-15.

Plainfield North will host Oswego East at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Plainfield North has won three straight at home, while Oswego East won six straight on the road), something that'll have to change. As for Harlem, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 62-44 victory against Stillman Valley on the 3rd.
