The Cresset Christian Academy Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged Carolina Friends out 60-58. The victory was just what Cresset Christian Academy needed coming off of a 68-19 loss in their prior contest.
Cresset Christian Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Mario Jarett out in front who scored 30 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jarett has scored all season. Branson Green was another key contributor, scoring 19 points.
Cresset Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-9. As for Carolina Friends, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-9.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cresset Christian Academy will take on Cape Fear Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Cape Fear Christian Academy is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for Carolina Friends, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Woods Charter at 11:00 a.m.
