Baseball Recap: Napoleon Extends Winning Streak to Three

Napoleon extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday, bumping them up to 10-10. They walked away with an 8-3 win over the Addison Panthers. Eight seems to be a good number for the Pirates as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

As for Addison, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by exactly five runs.

For Addison's part, Jacob Wright made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

Coming up, Addison will challenge Vandercook Lake at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Jayhawks have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.81 runs per game on average), something the Panthers will no doubt try to take advantage of. Napoleon will be paying especially close attention to Addison's game: after Addison faces off against Bellevue, they'll take on Napoleon again at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
