Baseball Recap: Eagle's View Extends Winning Streak to Four

It may have taken ten innings to finish the job, but Eagle's View ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Duval Charter Panthers 3-2. The win was nothing new for the Warriors as they're now sitting on four straight.

Aaron Parmar tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over six innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Eagle's View saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Montgomery, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. Peyton Bryan also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Eagle's View pushed their record up to 9-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Duval Charter, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-4.

Looking ahead, Eagle's View will host Middleburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Duval Charter, they will head out on the road to face off against Harvest Community at 6:00 p.m. on March 26th.
