Hi-Plains hadn't done well against Stratton recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Patriots blew past the Eagles 3-0. Winning may never get old, but the Patriots sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Hi-Plains' got stronger as the match went on, holding Stratton to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-18, 25-15.

Cambria Seaman paced Hi-Plains' offense, picking up 13 kills. Seaman got some help from Alexis Harvie and her 33 assists.

Hi-Plains' victory bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Stratton, their defeat ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 16-6.

Hi-Plains didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Bethune on the 1st. As for Stratton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Briggsdale on the 1st.
