NOVA HomeSchool made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Fairfax HomeSchool, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Lions blew past the Hawks 10-3 on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won four matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

NOVA HomeSchool has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Fairfax HomeSchool, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. NOVA HomeSchool will welcome Avalon at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Fairfax HomeSchool, they will host Fredericksburg V at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
