Sublette is 7-2 against Moscow since February of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Sublette Larks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Moscow Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. Sublette comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
Last Friday, Sublette was beaten by Wichita County 73-19. While losing is never fun, Sublette can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 324th, while Wichita County is ranked 30th).
Aneya Puentes was Sublette's leading scorer, having posted nine points.
Talyna Guenter held things down on the boards with seven rebounds.
Ariana Ornelas took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.
Meanwhile, Moscow suffered a tough 61-35 loss at the hands of Osborne on Saturday. Moscow has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Sublette dropped their record down to 0-17 with that defeat, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Moscow, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-5 record this season.
