Banks stacked a sixth blowout onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 42-8 win over Warrenton. Given Banks' advantage in MaxPreps' Oregon football rankings (they are ranked 26th, while Warrenton is ranked 95th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Ashton Crossen, who rushed for 54 yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Burns can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They really took it to Umatilla for the full four quarters, racking up a 42-0 win at home. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Burns had established a 35 point advantage.
Banks' win was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 9-0. As for Burns, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.
