The Fairview Warriors won the last time they faced the Culbertson Cowboys, and things went their way on Thursday too. Fairview blew past Culbertson 61-33 on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Fairview has posted against Culbertson since January 16, 2021.
Several Cowboys players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Plenny Williams, who scored 11 points along with two steals. That's the first time this season that Williams grabbed two or more steals. Ian Snyder was another key contributor, scoring five points along with two steals and two blocks.
Fairview has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for Culbertson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fairview will take on Malta at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Malta is coming into the game hot, having won their last eight games. As for Culbertson, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on MonDak [Westby/Grenora] at 5:30 p.m. on January 27th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Montana (MonDak [Westby/Grenora] is ranked 147th, while Culbertson is ranked 125th).
