McKinley may have come out ahead in their last match, but they shouldn't get too cocky given who is up next. They will challenge Catholic-B.R. on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. The two teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous games.
McKinley took an ego-bruising defeat against Cecilia two weeks ago, but they kept their chin up and bounced back last Friday. McKinley were able to grind out a solid victory over Broadmoor last Friday, winning 20-6.
Meanwhile, if there were any doubts about the heavy odds in favor of Catholic-B.R. coming into their game against St. Amant last Friday, the team laid those doubts to rest. Catholic-B.R. put the hurt on St. Amant with a sharp 51-21 win. The win was familiar territory for Catholic-B.R., who now have three in a row.
McKinley ended up a good deal behind Catholic-B.R. when they played the last time the two teams met, losing 28-47. Can McKinley avenge their loss, or is history doomed to repeat itself ? We'll soon find out.
