It was another big night for Kayden Strong, who scored 19 points along with 9 rebounds and 7 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Hamilton's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Caden Stickney, who scored 12 points along with 3 steals.
When it comes to explaining why Live Oak lost, one person who can't be blamed is Harjot Kular. Despite the final result, he scored 23 points. The contest was Kular's fifth in a row with at least ten points. T.J. Ehrke was another key contributor, scoring 10 points.
Hamilton's victory bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Live Oak, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
Hamilton is on the road again on Thursday and play against Las Plumas at 8:00 p.m. on December 7th. Las Plumas presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Hamilton in California (Las Plumas is ranked 403rd, while Hamilton is ranked 1017th). As for Live Oak, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Paradise at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
