Northumberland won the last time they faced St. Margaret and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Indians blew past the Scotties 13-1. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won seven games by nine runs or more so far this season.
Ava Wilson was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. Wilson was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.
In other batting news, Northumberland let Braylin Beauchamp and Kierra Coleman run wild. Beauchamp went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base, while Coleman went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple.
